Casually, Blaise leaned against the wall of Knockturn alley and raised a smoldering cigarette to his lips. Blending in with the scenery, he watched, disinterestedly, as some wizards slunk past him, hoods pulled up to distinguish their features.

They were not his prey.

Flicking the smoke away with a casual gesture, Blaise backed into the shadows as the pretty witch he’d marked in the bar rounded the corner. After she’d passed, staggering from the stuff he’d laced her drink with, Blaise followed, his lust for blood starkly evident in his eyes.

Summertime gave him playtime. Tomorrow he would select another.
