Author's Notes: Just so you know, the steam and mirror reference was from The Writing on the Wall I wrote a few challenges back. Basically, Narcissa wrote in the steam that Lucius asked her to marry him.
The summer that Lucius asked Narcissa to marry her was the worst summer Andromeda had ever suffered through. After reading the message Narcissa left in the steam on the mirror, Andromeda had tried to talk to Narcissa about her reservations.
It was futile, of course.
When Narcissa came home one night with two black eyes, a flayed back, and a broken nose, courtesy of Lucius, Andromeda tried again.
Miserably, she failed.
Finally, Narcissa came home with the Dark Mark proudly burned into her flesh and Andromeda could only weep the bitterest of tears, knowing that Narcissa lost to her forever.
